1► RECEPTION DESK OPENING HOURSAs a general rule, our reception desk is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Opening hours can vary slightly according to the city.
Outside of reception desk opening hours an answering machine is available at the property number to take your calls in the event of an emergency. Leave a clear, audible message and your contact details so that we can get back in touch with you as quickly as possible.
2► SAFETY - EMERGENCIESSafety instructions* are posted on the back of the main door of each apartment. The instructions tell you what to do if an alarm goes off.
*Apartments at our residence.We recommend that you take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the instructions and that you locate the emergency exits and fire extinguishers before an emergency occurs.
You will also find emergency phone numbers in the Guest information booklet. To ensure that you are prepared for any emergency that may occur we have provided numbers for a doctor, the fire department, and the police. Whenever possible, we have provided contact details for English-speaking emergency response professionals.
Just as you would when at home, when leaving your apartment, we ask that you make sure the door is securely locked and not merely closed.
3► INVENTORYAn inventory of all of the items in your
apartment is available at the reception desk. If you would like to check to make sure that no kitchen items or tableware is missing from your apartment, please ask for the inventory sheet at the reception desk. If you find that anything is missing, please let us know.
4► TELEPHONEYour
apartment is equipped with a direct-dial telephone. You should have been given the telephone number when you checked in.
To call another
apartment at the
residence, please ask a member of our team for the number.
5► RUBBISH CONTAINERSThe
residence is equipped with rubbish containers. Please ask the reception desk where these can be found.
For private apartments, we will also be glad to tell you where the rubbish containers are located.
Some cities require the sorting of rubbish for recycling. We ask that you follow any instructions for sorting rubbish in the different containers provided. Generally, grey containers are for rubbish; green containers are for recyclables.
Glass must be discarded using special containers for glass recycling. Please do not mix glass with normal rubbish and recyclables.
6► MAILIf you are staying at our residence, we receive your mail and any parcels delivered by the post office. If you are staying at a private apartment, the mail is delivered directly to your mailbox by the post office.
Les Privilodges cannot accept registered letters with return receipt on your behalf.
Les Privilodges will be glad to hold any parcels delivered to you free of charge. However, we cannot be responsible for damage to goods received.
7► LAUNDRYA self-service laundry room equipped with washers and dryers is available at the residence. You can pick up laundry tokens at the reception desk (
see rates). Operating instructions for the washers and dryers are posted in the laundry room.
Private apartments are equipped with washing machines.
8► PETSPets are allowed at the residence and in private apartments (
see rates). We ask that you be respectful of your neighbors with regard to pet noise and waste, both inside and outside your apartment. We also ask that you clean up after your pets in and around the residence and parking areas. Repairs due to pet damage will be invoiced.
9► PARKINGYou are using the parking area at the residence : out of consideration for our other guests, we ask that you use only the space that has been assigned to you and that you refrain from allowing other vehicles (such as those of friends or colleagues) to use the parking area without first reporting to the reception desk.
If you are in a private apartment, your parking space, if there is one, is reserved for your use.
10► DELIVERIESYou are welcome to have deliveries made (meals, pizzas, groceries, etc.). However, in order to maintain optimal security, we ask that you refrain from giving out the access codes to the buildings (whether you are staying at the residence or a private apartment) to delivery personnel. Instead, please open the main door to the residence or your apartment building for delivery personnel.
11► RESTAURANTS – POINTS OF INTEREST – MAPSNear the residence’s reception desk you will find information about shops, restaurants, points of interest in and around town, and maps. This information has been provided to make your stay more pleasant.
Please don’t hesitate to stop by the reception desk for more information about local entertainment and points of interest.
12► ENERGYLike you, we care about our planet and do our best to minimize our impact on the environment. Wherever possible, our corridors are equipped with motion detectors to ensure that lights are not left on unnecessarily. We ask that you do your best not to waste water or electricity. Therefore, please check to ensure that the water is turned off completely and that all lights are turned off before you leave your apartment.
13► POLICE REGULATIONSEach guest is considered liable for violations of local police regulations, especially with regard to property use rights and noise.
Whether you are staying at the residence or a private apartment, we ask that you refrain from disturbing the neighbors. Please turn down the volume of your television or radio/CD player if a neighbor asks you to do so. In general, police regulations state that noise levels must be kept down after 10 p.m.
